Meet at 5:00 pm at the advised pre location in the confirmation email.
Group discussion of the evening's plans to ensure everyone has the correct camera settings before getting dark.

What to bring
Digital DSLR or Mirrorless camera.
Lens, preferably your widest and fastest lens ( 10-24mm ) ( f2.8-f4 or faster ) ( 24-100mm for the Moon)
Spare Batteries ( Cold nights can drain lithium batteries fast )
Tripod with Ball Head
Intervalometer or cable release. Unless camera has an internal feature.
Star Tracker - Optional
Headlamp with red light option ( Red light is critical for dark adaptation )
Torch ( Used when scouting locations )
Sturdy shoes for walking
Warm clothing ( The warmer you are the more comfortable you will be capturing the night sky )
Snacks and beverages
Hire - There’s an option to try before you buy and hire equipment on the night.

All workshops are subject to weather conditions and can be cancelled due to severe weather conditions beyond our control. In the event of a cancellation due to severe weather, a voucher will be given to attend an alternative workshop.
