Lens, preferably your widest and fastest lens ( 10-24mm ) ( f2.8-f4 or faster )
Spare Batteries ( Cold nights can drain lithium batteries fast )
Tripod with Ball Head
Intervalometer or cable release. Unless camera has internal feature.
Star Tracker - Optional
Headlamp with red light option ( Red light is critical for dark adaptation )
Torch ( Used when scouting locations )
Sturdy shoes for walking
Warm clothing ( The warmer you are the more comfortable you will be capturing the night sky )
